Scholarship Supper

The Van Wert Federation of Teachers Scholarship Supper will be held on September 28th this year.  The supper will take place at the Goedde Complex gym, before the Homecoming Game against Wapakoneta. Food will be served from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The supper is a fundraiser for the scholarships given by the Van Wert Federation of Teachers. Two scholarships are given each year, and each is worth $750. The scholarships are awarded in the spring to students going to college to study education of any grade K-12. Last year's winners were Nehemiah Murphy and Alissa Prichard.

Tickets to the supper are available from any member of the Van Wert Federation of Teachers, which is made up of most teachers in the school district. Prices are $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 10 and under. Tickets will also be available at the supper. The meal offers a great variety of food. The choice in meats will be of a Hot Dog, Hamburger, or Brat. This year's sides will include chips, potato salad, baked beans, applesauce, various cookies, brownies, and pie. Beverages are included in the meal and will be numerous types of soda pop or bottled water. We all hope to see as many people as possible pack the Goedde gym!
