Temperatures
are rising, and even though most enjoy the break from freezing cold it’s
not helping the environment. Global Warming is caused when Carbon
dioxide and other gases cause the solar heat to be contained in the
atmosphere. By the increased use in fossil fuels throughout the world,
global warming has become a major issue. Even with
some individuals denying that the issue is real, a vast majority of
scientists throughout the world are backing up the physical evidence
that has been released. Glaciers are melting, plants and animals are
being forced from their habitats, and the number of severe storms and
droughts are increasing. These are just a few problems that have been
traced back to the global warming phenomenon. Along with the changes in
Earth’s physical appearance, human deaths are expected to double, sea levels
will rise and heat waves will occur more often and at a higher
intensity. Millions of animal species are expected to be extinct, along
with an ice free Arctic Ocean by the year 2050. By changing daily
routines in daily lifestyles will help to prevent global warming. There are
now approved plates from recycled paper, light bulbs and countless other ways to help,
which are environmentally safe.
