Q: What Classes do you teach?

A: I teach 5 classes in the Family and consumer Science Department: On your Own,  Food power, Parenting,  Gourmet Foods, and I Can.

Q: What High School did you   go to?

A: Maryville High School in Maryville Tennessee- the    home of the fighting Rebels,  Our mascot was a rebel    soldier holding a confederate flag!

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: Computer art and graphic design, Digital photography, Camping and outdoor cooking hiking/ walking outdoors, reading, mostly non-fiction books- real-life action adventures

Q: How long have you been teaching?

A: Since January, 1980

Q: What is your favorite part about being a teacher?

A: Watching students (especially the girls) mature from when they arrive as a freshman until they graduate   as a senior!

Q: Who are your role models?

A: My mom and  my dad - a great couple and wonderful individuals

A: I am not who I think I am     I am not who YOU think Iam       I am who I think YOU think Iam!

Q: If you weren't a teacher what would you be doing?

A: Raising alpaca and giant tortoise on a country estate    in Wear's Valley Tennessee, close to my family!

Q: Where is your favorite vacation spot?

A: No single spot - I love to travel from place to place,especially State Parks  and National Parks. My  favorites are the ones in the Rocky Mountains

Q: What do you like to do  during the weekends?

A: I like to take weekend     get-away trips; camping or going to a big city and   exploring

A: This is my 16th year

A: Building Relationships and watching their abilities improve!

A: I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.

Q: If you weren't a teacher what would you be doing?

A: Operating an art studio full time.

A: Virginia Beach
