Senior Analysis is a new class that is eligible for any senior, in need
of a math credit. It is taken in the first semester of the year and is
divided into two nine weeks. In the first nine weeks, the class reviews over
Trigonometry, Graphing, and etc. In the second nine weeks your learn
about Financing appliances. Mrs. Krites, the teacher of the class, takes
what you know and extends it so your knowledge furthers into
the criteria. For example, Credit Cards, many of us know what Credit
Cards are and some of the qualities it has, but there is much more about
them then what you think. Also in the Financing, you learn that there
are many different retirement plans that some jobs offer, others you may
not have ever heard of. As a "use to be " student of this class I
learned about different Retirement plans, and its important to find out
what kind of retirement plan they offer, depending what you go in to,
when your ready to start your career. I also learned, from a couple of
speakers Mrs. Krites planned for the class, how very important it is to
keep track of your money so you won't go into debt. This class is a
great class, and you don't have any tests, but you do end up having a
big project to do at the end. The Big Project is really fun though,
because you choose your future and find out how much money you have left
over after paying you monthly bills and etc. Senior Analysis is a very
interesting class and it can help you in the near future.
