Band is a year long course that you can take your freshman year through your Senior year. Band is taught by Mr. Sloan. During the year the students have Concert Band, where they split the band in to two bands, Symphony Band which is the taught by Mr. Sloan, and Concert Band which is taught by Miss. Kelly. It is at 4th period everyday. The students have a chance to go to Solo Ensemble which is coming up soon for them. This gives them a chance to show how good they can play. They can perform a solo, a duet, a trio, a quartet, or an ensemble. They would be judged by adults who they don't even know. So if you are interested in music then take band!
