The Media Trends are the movies, TV shows, and music of the year 2007-2008.
Media impacts society in many ways and in this past year, there have been
many major changes in the media.
Below are different media trends in the years 2007-2008.
Angles and Airways is an alternative rock group fronted
by former Blink-182 and Box Car Racer guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge. The Band includes
guitarist David Kennedy, notably from Over My Dead Body,
Haven Street and Box Car Racer, former Rocket From the
Crypt and Offspring drummer Atom Willard and former 30
seconds to Mars bassist Matt Watcher, who replaced former The
Distillers bassist Ryan Sinn in May 2007.
Taylor Swift (born December 13, 1989) is an American Country music
singer-songwriter. Signed to the independent Big Machine Records label in
2006, Taylor made her debut on the U.S. Billboard country charts with the
release of her debut single " Tim McGraw". Her self-titled debut album was
released late 2006, and has been since been certified triple platinum by the
RIAA in the United States
Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr.( born in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States, )
better known as his stage name LiL Wayne, is an American rapper. He met the
Cash Money Records collective as a teenager and eventually as a recorded for
a label. He was a member of the rap group, Hot Boys. In 1997, Wayne formed
the group Hot boys along with rappers Juvenile, Turk, and B.G., who released
their debut Guerrilla Warfare was released; it was followed in 2003 by Let
Em Bum. His solo career began in 1999.
Superbad
Two high school best friends forever (Jonah
Hill, Michael Cera) go on a mission to provide alcohol for a graduation
party.
After facing the fact that both Seth [Jonah Hill] and Evan [Michael Cera]
will both be going to different colleges next year, it seems more
imporant than ever that they go to a high school party, and achieve some
of their long time goals. Their awkard friend Fogell [Christopher
Mintz-Plasse] gets a fake ID, with just the name McLovin [it was either
that or Mohammid], and agrees to get liquor to bring to Jules' [Emma
Stone] aka Seths dream girl's graduation party. All seems to be going
well until McLovin is suckerpunched in the liquor store by a robber.
When the police come, they try to get a story out of the clerk, but she
is too worried about her exam tomorrow, so they question McLovin, which
then they offer to give him a ride home.
All in all the boys almost learn that its just better to man up and
confront the girl.
Prom Night
Like most teenagers, Donna (Brittany Snow) is expecting her prom night to be
the greatest night of her entire life. While the party being hosted at a
posh hotel goes off without a hitch, Donna and her friends are pursued by a
serial killer in the suite of rooms they've rented for the night.
27 Dresses
After serving as a bridesmaid 27 times, a young woman (Heigl) wrestles with
the idea of standing by her sister's side as her sibling marries the man
she's secretly in love with.
Americas Next Top Model Cycle ten was fourth season of the series to be
aired on The CW network. The promotional catchphrase of the cycle is "New
Faces, New Attitude, New York."
The Hills is an MTV reality television series[1] and a
spin-off of the popular MTV show Laguna Beach. It documents the life of
Lauren Conrad and her friends after leaving her home in Laguna Beach,
California.
