In a health conscious society, offering a fast food alternative to grease burgers and deep fried goodies makes perfect sense.  At first, only a few restaurants offered more healthy choices; salads, yogurt, and milk.  But let's be honest:  you don't go to Wendy's to eat lettuce. 

So a new product was developed to give more of a tasty choice for less calories.  Food wraps, the most popular of which are chicken wraps, are now offered at almost every major fast food chain.  They come in a variety of flavors; with or without lettuce, tomato, bacon, ranch, etc.  And you even have the choice of whether or not to have the wrap itself grilled.

Pull into your favorite franchise in town and you're sure to see some sort of food wrap on the menu.  Whether it stands up to a classic cheeseburger or not is your call.
