The revolution has begun, and music games will never be the same. A new king has been crowned in the music-game world, and it is Rock Band. For the first time ever, you and up to three friends can play together as a complete, traditional rock band. Games have attempted guitars and microphones before, but not have combined them and introduced a drum set for a party-based music game. In the single player mode, you can play any of the three different instruments independently and have a great amount of fun that way. In the multi-player mode, you can play any instrument you wish with other people, playing as a loose practice band, or even touring the world and performing for your in-game fans. You can build up the points with solos, cumulative multipliers within your band, and the wild Big Rock Endings. Play with friends within the room, across the country, or both, working cooperatively or competitively and having fun all the time. Create your own intricate rockers and bands to make the game even more your own. This king among games will give you months of gameplay and give you much satisfaction with all the instruments and downloadable songs. Everything else is just an imitation.
