We live in a fast-paced era, filled with technology to make our days more efficient and work to pay for that technology. Communication has changed and evolved. Computers and the internet let people talk to each other, and server space has become so obtainable that anyone can make their own pages online for free.

Of course there are several 'blog' sites as they are called for teens to stay in touch with one another.  They come in and out of style as quick as shoes, with Facebook leading the pack.

 Facebook is also a great way to keep in touch with friends and families, especially when they live far away.  With no extra fee for intercontinental chatting, blogging/messaging can easily beat telephones. 

Facebook also includes a lot of fun features to add to your page, such as a comment wall or even virtual pets.  So if you're waiting for your new friend in Tokyo to message you,  there's something to keep you occupied.
