Every year, many seniors get there pictures taken professionally for their senior pictures.

There are many different places where a senior could get their pictures taken. Below are a few more popular places in our area where you could get your pictures taken.

One of the biggest things many seniors think of as they're getting ready to get their pictures is how much money is it going to cost them. Most people don't think that getting their pictures taken professionally wouldn't cost that much. And in most cases, they're wrong. You can find the prices on each of the photography websites above.

But why, you may ask, do seniors want to spend so much time and money in pictures? Is it just a tradition or a trend? Is it just a matter of 'everyone else has them' or 'I want my senior year to always be remembered'? Below are a few answers to these questions and a few comments about senior pictures.

Senior, Neal Burgos said, "Most seniors pay so much money and take so much time to get their pictures because it's the last picture your going to take for school and you want to be remembered."	Senior, Kristin Krugh said, "I think senior pictures are a tradition. People have been doing them forever."
Junior, Brigit Youngblutt said, "I think seniors get their pictures taken so that when they are older they can look back and remember their memories of high school."	Junior, Tony Conn said, "I will be getting my pictures taken. I want to have some good pictures of myself in high school that I can hold onto forever. I plan on getting them taken in the summer."
Sophomore, Kaylee Stanski said, "I think seniors are putting their money for a good reason because it lets them remember their senior year."	Sophomore, Kandace Stanski said, "I think seniors get their pictures taken because everyone else gets them and it's a big high school trend."
